 Halloween Parade

The Sunbury Fire Police will hold their Annual Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 20, 2011.

Rain date is Friday, October 21, 2011.

We take pleasure to extend to you an invitation to participate.  Cash prizes will be awarded to musical unit, comic and fancy dress units, floats and individuals.  There are no entry fees*.

*DONATION FEE OF $25.00 FOR ALL POLICTICAL ENTRIES WILL BE REQUIRED!  RECEIPT OF PAYMENT NEEDED WHEN ENTERING THE PARADE THAT EVENING.

Prior to the parade you will be notified by phone what division your group will be in and where to meet to line up and get your placement number. Please make sure there is a contact number on your form.

Only forward drilling is permitted in line of march. 

***THE PARADE WILL FORM on Walnut and 10th Street at 6:00. Parade will START at 7:00, turn east on to Market Street, then turn north onto Fourth Street, ending at Weis Markets on Fourth Street.

 ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.  We will not be responsible for any injuries.

****CANDY MAY BE PASSED OUT ~~~ PLEASE DON’T THROW IT.

We don’t want any of the children to get hurt from getting too close to the floats, etc.

Starting the week of September 21nd, the Sunbury Fire Police will be going door to door collecting donations for this community event.  Organizers will be soliciting until they work their way around the city.  The local Crime Watch will be assisting the Sunbury Fire Police and they will be in uniform.
